DK Singh is Editor (Politics) at ThePrint. He has nearly three decades of experience as a print and digital journalist. DK started as a freelancer for The Pioneer in early 1990s before joining as a full-time correspondent in the New Delhi Bureau of the Mainichi Shimbun, the oldest newspaper of Japan, in 1997. He covered South Asia for the Japanese publication for three years.

From 2000 onwards, DK worked with several prominent Indian newspapers, including Business StandardThe Indian Express and Hindustan Times, reporting on politics and governance and overseeing their coverage as Chief of National Bureau and National Political Editor.

At ThePrint, where he has been since 2018, DK writes a weekly column —Politically Correct — and runs two popular shows — Political Adda and Headlines Ke Peeche.
