Sanjeev Chopra is a former IAS officer, and was for many years the Director of the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration. He specialises in the history of the Indian polity, the political economy of development and issues connected with governance.
He is a Distinguished Professor of Public Policy at the UPES, History and Public Policy at the Swami Rama Himalayan University, and a Fellow of the United Services Institution and the Royal Asiatic Society of Great Britain and Ireland.
Currently, Sanjeev is the Festival Director of Valley of Words in Dehradun.
