Based in Taipei, Sana Hashmi, PhD, is a China specialist and an expert on Taiwan’s foreign policy. She is a fellow at the Taiwan-Asia Exchange Foundation and the George HW Bush Foundation for US-China Relations. Concurrently, she is a non-resident fellow at Taiwan’s NextGen Foundation and Research Institute for Indo-Pacific Affairs. Prior to coming to Taiwan, she worked as a consultant with India’s Ministry of External Affairs.
